Springer and Förderkreis Gründungs-Forschung e.V. sign book series deal
STM publisher Springer has signed a deal with the Förderkreis Gründungs-Forschung e.V (FGF), the foremost organisation of professors of entrepreneurship and small business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, to publish a new series entitled ‘FGF Studies in Small Business and Entrepreneurship.’ The series strengthens both Springer’s portfolio of business publications, as well as the reach of the work of FGF members.

Elsevier launches new Open Access journal – JPRAS Open
STM publisher Elsevier has announced the launch of a new, online-only open access journal, JPRAS Open. As a sister journal of Journal of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, JPRAS Open is similarly dedicated to publishing case reports, short communications, and full-length research papers on topics relating to plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.

General Practitioners in the United Kingdom now have an additional source for learning credits as the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) has accredited the clinical reference tool DynaMedTM from EBSCO Health. DynaMed, a clinical reference tool created by physicians for physicians and other healthcare professionals, is designed to rapidly aid clinical decision making and provides unbiased evidence-based information on more than 3,200 diagnosis, disease and treatment topics.

SAGE set to publish Chinese Journal of Sociology from March 2015
Academic publisher SAGE and Shanghai University have announced a new partnership to publish an English language version of the leading Chinese Journal of Sociology (CJS).
