STM publisher Elsevier has integrated TruCode’s Encoder Essentials, a web services solution for clinical coding, into SimChart for the Medical Office and the resources to support 2015 Step by Step Medical Coding by Carol J. Buck. SimChart for the Medical Office is the industry’s first academic EHR and practice management product to offer students an integrated encoder.

ProQuest, through its affiliate Bowker, has acquired Palo Alto-based SIPX, a creator of a unique digital course materials solution that addresses a variety of copyright and costs concerns for universities.
