The London Book Fair has confirmed two keynote speakers for its Quantum Conference, scheduled for March 13, 2017, 09:30 – 16:00 hrs. STM publisher Elsevier has announced the addition of more than one million new figures and tables to Geofacets, its premier information solution for geoscientists in Oil & Gas companies and academic institutions. Gates Foundation research announces open-access mandate, requires recipients to make findings publicly available
Research funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, one of the world’s most influential global health charities, cannot currently be published in several leading journals as these journals do not comply with its open-access policy. The bar is a result of the Gates Foundation’s policy in support of open access and open data, which was first announced in 2014 but came into force at the beginning of 2017.
