Academic publisher Taylor & Francis Group has partnered with the Center for Science Communication, National Natural Science Foundation of China to share Open Access research in China. A new Memorandum of Understanding between Taylor & Francis Group and the Center for Science Communication, National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) will see content and metadata from Taylor & Francis’ fully Open Access journals deposited in the NSFC repository.

 Canadian Research Knowledge Network appoints Gloria Booth-Morrison as ORCID-CA Member Support Specialist
The Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CRKN) has announced that Gloria Booth-Morrison has joined the organization as ORCID-CA Member Support Specialist, effective August 8, 2017. Gloria comes to CRKN from the University of Ottawa, an ORCID-CA member, where she worked as a Science and Engineering Librarian. As part of her role there, she designed and delivered workshops relating to journal selection, authors’ rights, and citation metrics.

Open access publisher Dove Medical Press has announced the appointment of Dr. Michael Schatman, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Pain Research, as Director of Research and Network Development at Boston PainCare – an interdisciplinary pain treatment/management center based in Waltham, Massachusetts (USA).
