STM publisher Elsevier has announced that content from Knovel, an engineering decision-support solution, is discoverable through the EBSCO Discovery ServiceTM (EDS). The integration allows mutual customers to combine answers from high quality engineering references within a unified search platform, as well as directly access Knovel subscription content via the EDS platform.

SAGE reports strong growth in 2014 Citation Reports
Academic publisher SAGE has reported strong performance and continued growth across its journals portfolio in the Journal Citation Reports® (JCR) Thomson Reuters, 2015. With over 500 journals now ranked in the JCR, SAGE continues to experience consistent growth within the reports, achieving a 31 percent increase over the past five years. In this year’s reports, over 100 SAGE journals have received a top 10 category rank, with 23 journals receiving their first Impact Factor (IF).

Journal of Medical Imaging, Neurophotonics now included in PubMed Central
Not for-profit publisher SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics, has announced that two more journals published by SPIE are now included in PubMed Central, a free full-text archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature run by the U.S. National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) National Library of Medicine. Launched in 2014, both journals are published in print and digitally in the SPIE Digital Library.
