On the third day of the Frankfurt Book Fair, highlighted events included the opening of the ‘Media and Technology Forum’ as part of the ‘New European Media Summit; Peace Prize winner Navid Kermani discussed Iranian literature; and a press conference highlighted the results of the ‘Frankfurt Undercover’ discussions throughout the week where 30 international writers debated the topic of extremism. The Frankfurt Book Fair is the international publishing industry’s biggest trade fair – with 7,100 exhibitors from more than 100 countries, around 270,000 visitors, over 4,000 events and around 9,300 accredited journalists in attendance. AIP Publishing has announced that it is one of the first STM publishers to begin making federally funded research articles it publishes in its journals publicly available through CHORUS (Clearing House for the Open Research of the United States).
