STM publisher Elsevier has announced the publication of the inaugural issue of JACC: Basic to Translational Science, a new open access peer-reviewed journal. Published on behalf of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), this new bi-monthly journal focuses on the critical interface between laboratory and clinical science.

SAGE set to publish official journal of the Health Information Management Association of Australia
Academic publisher SAGE Publishing will begin publishing Health Information Management Journal (HIMJ), the official peer-reviewed research journal of the Health Information Management Association of Australia (HIMAA), from spring 2016. HIMJ will provide a forum for dissemination of original investigations and reviews covering a broad range of topics related to the management and communication of health information.

BioMed Central to publish Marine Biodiversity Records as an Open Access journal
Open access publisher BioMed Central will publish Marine Biodiversity Records, the official journal of the Marine Biological Association of the United Kingdom, as an Open Access journal. The journal was launched as a subscription journal in 2008, however from 2016 onwards it will be publishing wholly Open Access.

Wolters Kluwer completes first group of data migrations for new customers converting to ProVation MD from Olympus EndoWorks
The Health division of Wolters Kluwer, a global provider of information and point of care solutions for the healthcare industry, has successfully completed data migrations at three ProVation® MD Gastroenterology customer facilities that converted from Olympus® EndoWorks® in advance of its 2018 retirement. Wolters Kluwer signed agreements last year to replace Olympus EndoWorks with ProVation MD at 86 healthcare facilities.
