Paula Stephan and Jeffrey Mervis to be featured keynote presenters at the Society for Scholarly Publishing 39th Annual Meeting
The Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP) has announced that its keynote speakers for the SSP 39th Annual Meeting to be held May 31-June 2 in Boston, MA, will be Paula Stephan and Jeffrey Mervis. While Stephan will speak on May 31st, Jeffrey Mervis will take the stage on June 1st. The SSP Annual Meeting will also include 36 concurrent sessions featuring an international group of presenters from all areas of scholarly communications: publishers, service providers, librarians, and researchers.

EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) has self-certified under the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework. The Privacy Shield Framework replaces the earlier U.S.-E.U. Safe Harbor Framework that was invalidated in October of 2015. It is intended to provide a reliable mechanism for companies to transfer personal data from the EU to the U.S. while retaining adequate protections and safeguards and providing transparency related to the information collected.
