 Wiley partners with the March for Science
Publisher John Wiley and Sons Inc. has announced a partnership with the March for Science, a global nonpartisan movement that highlights the critical role science plays in improving our lives, understanding our world, and informing policymaking in communities across the world. On April 14, 2018, more than 220 cities around the world hosted marches where scientists and supporters of science came together. At the rally in Washington, D.C., Wiley sponsored a tent on behalf of the National Council for Science and the Environment.

 Wolters Kluwer-Rockburn Institute study links evidence-based clinical decision support to higher value-based care scores
Wolters Kluwer Health has released the results of a study conducted in partnership with the Rockburn Institute that revealed when nurses use Lippincott Advisor and Lippincott Procedures at the bedside, hospitals’ Value-Based Purchasing (VBP) scores went up. Notably, the study found that hospitals using both evidence-based clinical decision support (CDS) tools exceeded the national average and had a nearly 25% higher average rank on 2017 scores than their peers, based on Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) performance measures.

 Sudan Journal of Medical Sciences now accepted for indexing in DOAJ
Knowledge E has announced that the Sudan Journal of Medical Sciences (SJMS) has been accepted for indexing in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). The DOAJ database routinely evaluates open access journals against a set of 55 strict quality criteria and now lists more than 10,000 journals in all subject areas.
