 Springer Nature launches two new journals under new ‘SN’ imprint
Springer Nature has announced the launch of two new highly inclusive, broad appeal journals in the fields of applied sciences and clinical medicine under a new imprint ‘SN’. SN Applied Sciences and SN Comprehensive Clinical Medicine are the first journals to be published using the ‘SN’ name, an indication of the value the company believes sound science journals have to offer to the research community.

Academic publisher Taylor & Francis and the Association of Universities in the Netherlands (VSNU) have renewed their agreement granting open-access publication to Dutch universities for three years. As a result, Dutch corresponding authors will be entitled to publish their articles open access at no cost to themselves in 2,367 Taylor & Francis journal titles until 2020. In addition, Dutch universities will have ready access to 1,530 titles.
