 Jisc and JSTOR celebrate 20 years of partnership
Forty academic, library, and publishing leaders from across the UK and US gathered at Pembroke College on July 3, 2018 to commemorate a two-decades-long relationship between Jisc and JSTOR, two organisations jointly committed to using technology to advance research and education. In attendance at the event were several people that spearheaded the Jisc-JSTOR relationship in the beginning, including Pembroke Master Dame Brindley. They were joined by current UK library leaders and several JSTOR content contributors, including representatives of some of the oldest learned societies in the UK.

 Registrations now open for 2018 ARL-CNI Fall Forum
Registration is open for the 2018 Fall Forum, a one-day conference co-sponsored by the Association of Research Libraries (ARL) and the Coalition for Networked Information (CNI). The theme of this year’s Fall Forum is ‘Innovation in Research Libraries,’ with a focus on fostering an organisational culture that is capable of-and comfortable with-producing, testing, implementing, and sustaining innovative ideas regularly. The 2018 ARL-CNI Fall Forum will be held September 27 at the Marriott Georgetown in Washington, DC.

 Jennifer Crewe to lead Association of University Presses as President
Jennifer Crewe, Associate Provost and Director of the Columbia University Press, recently assumed the presidency of the Association of University Presses. Crewe was preceded by Nicole Mitchell, University of Washington Press. Treasurer Robbie Dircks, University of North Carolina Press, also took office, as Nadine Buckland, University of the West Indies Press, wrapped up her 2017-2018 term.
