 Clarivate Analytics unveils Cortellis CMC Intelligence, expands drug availability in low and middle income countries
Clarivate Analytics has announced the launch of Cortellis CMC Intelligence, a unique database developed to simplify the drug submission process and increase the chances of an approval, with a focus on the areas of greatest medical need in Low and Middle Income countries (LMICs). Cortellis CMC Intelligence was funded in part by a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

 SSP NYC 2018 regional event recap – Metadata 2020: The future of research relies on cross-community collaboration
Twenty attendees from a range of backgrounds gathered in the Adler Room in Rockefeller University’s Founders Hall for SSP’s regional event in New York City on the evening of September 13, 2018. There they learned about and discussed the increasing importance of good metadata and how the Metadata 2020 initiative is bringing the community together around this integral topic. Following three engaging presentations, attendees continued to have lively discussions in breakout groups.

 LIBER supports Open Access Week 2018
LIBER has established Open Access and Open Science at the core of its strategy and vision by participating in EU funded projects, having a dedicated Working Group on Open Access and being present at the forefront of discussions and initiatives. The second edition of the MicroMOOC on Open Access will be coordinated by the Open University of Catalonia (UOC). This is a course on Open Access, run in micro-MOOC format on Twitter for five days, in the framework of the International Open Access Week.
