 Clarivate Analytics and the Egyptian Knowledge Bank partner to launch Converis
Clarivate Analytics, a global leader in providing trusted insights and analytics to enable researchers to accelerate discovery, has announced a partnership with the Egyptian Knowledge Bank (EKB), the government’s digital library and online knowledge hub, to launch Converis and implement a national research management system. Converis will be hosted by the Egyptian National Science and Technology Network (ENSTINET) and it will allow Egypt to manage research funding and curate researcher profiles across research organisations in the country.

The John Cotton Dana Award is one of the most prestigious awards given to libraries and honours outstanding library public relations. Eight $10,000 awards will be provided by The H.W. Wilson Foundation in 2019.

The Research Collections and Preservation Consortium (ReCAP) has expanded its scope and membership, transforming its original mission from serving as a shared physical repository to becoming a model for shared collection building and management. Harvard University recently joined the consortium to implement strategies for collaboration in building, sharing, and preserving physical and digital collections in the coming years.

 OCLC and StackMap partner to enhance discovery experience for library users
Non-profit global library cooperative OCLC has announced a partnership with StackMap, an indoor mapping and way-finding service, to enhance the discovery of library materials by providing detailed directions to the location of physical items within a library. Libraries currently using WorldShare Management Services (WMS) and subscribing to StackMap can now integrate StackMap within the WorldCat Discovery interface to enhance the user experience.
