Under the title “Hug the Alien”, the all-media platform Frankfurt StoryDrive is looking for the revolutionaries of storytelling. Anyone can apply who wants to turn the media world on its head – or at least move it forward – with their idea, vision, project, (narrative) concept, service, business model or technology. At the pitching event “Hug the Alien”, the three most convincing candidates will be given the chance to present their visions to approximately 400 participants at StoryDrive.

Scholarly publisher Brill is set to launch a Chinese version of their corporate website – brill.com/cn – at the Beijing Book Fair. Now available in Simplified Chinese, the website allows Brill to better serve the Chinese-speaking research and academic library communities. Users can choose between the English and Chinese version of brill.com by using the flag icons on the upper-right-hand corner of the site.
