Corporate interest is a problem for research into open-access publishing, says NPG/ Palgrave Macmillan survey
Scientific publisher Nature Publishing Group (NPG) and its sister company, Palgrave Macmillan, recently conducted a survey, which notes that the open-access movement, which aims to provide researchers and the public with free access to academic work, has been growing. But most academic research remains behind expensive paywalls, which decreases its reach for the public who often fund the work.

STS’ Clinical Practice Guidelines are intended to assist physicians and other healthcare providers in clinical decision making by describing a range of generally acceptable approaches for the diagnosis, management, or prevention of specific diseases or conditions.
