Chaired by Professor Sir Bob Burgess, former University of Leicester Vice-Chancellor, the review received an excellent response from the research community, with over 85 submissions of written evidence highlighting how the policy is working in practice, with many positive responses about the principle of open access publishing. Millennials prefer to read print books to e-books, says new Publishing Technology study |
Millennials are more likely to read printed books than ebooks, according to new research by publishing services company, Publishing Technology. The survey ‘How Millennials Consume Content,’ polled 2,000 consumers across the US and UK, aged between 18 and 34. It found that in the last year, nearly twice as many respondents had read a print book (71 per cent), than an ebook on any device – the closest being a tablet (37 percent).
