Academic publisher Emerald Group Publishing recently signed a four year agreement to provide Egyptian citizens with access to Emerald content via the Egyptian Knowledge Bank (EKB) project, thereby creating the largest digital library in the world. The EKB acts as a repository for content from the world’s most prominent publishing houses and has been created as a catalyst to develop the Egyptian Learning Community. OhioLINK adopts Ex Libris Rosetta to manage, preserve, and provide access to digital collections |
Ex Libris® Group, a ProQuest® company, has announced that OhioLINK has selected the Ex Libris Rosetta digital management and preservation solution for 120 academic libraries plus the State Library of Ohio. Rosetta will ensure long-term access to the OhioLINK Electronic Journal Collection (EJC), Electronic Book Collection (EBC), Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETD) Center, and Digital Resource Commons (DRC) collections. ARL releases Library Liaison report, spurs discussion of liaison roles |
The Association of Research Libraries has released the final report of a pilot Library Liaison Institute organised by Columbia University Libraries, Cornell University Libraries, and the University of Toronto Libraries, and held at Cornell University in June 2015. The report summarises the institute and offers critical reflections and recommendations for reorganising liaison work as well as guidance for offering future Library Liaison Institutes.
