STM publisher Elsevier has announced the publication of the second edition of Encyclopedia of Food Grains, an in-depth and authoritative reference covering all areas of grain science. Edited by grain science and nutrition experts Colin Wrigley, Harold Corke, Koushik Seetharaman and Jonathan Faubion, the Encyclopedia is part of Elsevier’s Reference Module in Food Science, an interdisciplinary and continuously evolving resource containing thousands of Major Reference Work articles.

Thieme Chemistry has released version 4.3 of its unique full-text resource Science of Synthesis (SOS). Available as of March 2016, this update will see the addition of one new Knowledge Update with approximately 500 printed pages as well as two new reference library volumes comprising a total of 1,042 printed pages.

Montana’s Treasure State Academic Information & Library Services consortium selects Ex Libris Alma® resource management solution |
Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, has announced that Montana’s Treasure State Academic Information & Library Services (TRAILS) consortium has selected the Ex Libris Alma® resource management solution. The 16-member consortium of academic libraries decided to adopt Alma as a common, shared platform across the state following an earlier adoption of the Ex Libris Primo® discovery and delivery solution by the University of Montana, Montana State University, and the Outreach Montana: Networked Information (OMNI) group.
