Thomson Reuters, an intelligent information provider for scholarly publishers, partners with Overleaf, an online Rich Text and LaTeX collaborative writing and publishing tool. This new partnership will allow authors to directly submit manuscripts created in the Overleaf platform to the thousands of journals that use the Thomson Reuters – ScholarOne submission and peer review system.

Elsevier and the American Pharmacists Association announce publishing deal
STM publisher Elsevier has announced that it has been selected by the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) as exclusive publisher, promoter and distributor of APhA publications Pharmacy Today, Journal of the American Pharmacists Association and Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences. APhA’s editors will retain complete responsibility for the editorial content, while Elsevier will be responsible for publishing and distributing all print and electronic editions.

BioMed Central to publish Marine Biodiversity Records journal as an open access journal
Open access publisher BioMed Central has announced that Marine Biodiversity Records, a journal of the Marine Biological Association of the United Kingdom, will be published by BioMed Central from January 2016. The re-launched open access journal is now accepting submissions. The journal was formerly published by Cambridge University Press as a subscription journal with an open access option.

Prof. Steve Furber named new Editor-in-Chief of The Computer Journal
