Agreement between Choice and EBSCO highlights best in scholarly titles reviewed by Choice
An agreement between Choice magazine, a publication of the Association of College and Research Libraries (a division of the American Library Association) and EBSCO Information Services will highlight the EBSCO eBooks that have been named Choice Outstanding Academic Titles. This agreement will allow librarians to easily identify and acquire the titles that have been designated as excellent in presentation and scholarship, bringing exceptional support to the research of their students and faculty and increasing the value of their overall library collection.

Stevens Institute of Technology and Springer/Apress to jointly launch series of books on quantitative finance
Stevens Institute of Technology, a private research university, and Springer/Apress, global publishers of STM content for technology professionals and researchers in academia, announced the creation of an innovative series of books focused on the fast-growing field of quantitative finance. Springer/Apress and Stevens jointly plan to sign five titles to the book series in 2014 – the first of which is Practical Methods of Financial Engineering and Risk Management, written by Rupak Chatterjee, Ph.D., and published simultaneously with the series announcement.

Students in Florida’s largest districts to use Cengage Learning’s NGL reading and language arts programs
Nearly 100,000 middle and high school students in Florida will use learning materials from National Geographic Learning (NGL) when they return to school this Fall. The state’s three largest school districts – Miami-Dade, Broward County and Hillsborough County – and nine other districts in the state, have adopted NGL’s Inside and/or Edge reading and language arts programs. NGL is an exclusive partnership between Cengage Learning and the National Geographic Society.
