Academic publisher Taylor & Francis Group and Electronic Information for Libraries (EIFL) have announced a twelve month agreement which will enable researchers in countries with developing or transition economies to publish Open Access (OA) at a substantially reduced rate, or completely free of any article publishing charge (APC) on some Taylor & Francis and Routledge journals. American Society of Clinical Oncology launches new Journal of Global Oncology Editorial Fellowship |
The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) has announced the launch of its new Journal of Global Oncology Editorial Fellowship. The program will provide participants from low- and middle-income countries with an interactive introduction to scientific publishing. Altmetric has announced that they are now providing attention data for individual records published on the ClinicalTrials.gov platform, meaning that patients, researchers, healthcare professionals, regulators, and many others can now read the conversations and media coverage surrounding specific clinical trials, even before results have been published. As well as browsing the full data set, users can retrieve attention data for an individual clinical trial by inputting the study record’s National Clinical Trials (NCT) identification number.
