As of April 1, 2016, Dr. H.C. Albrecht Hauff, publisher and managing partner of the Thieme Publishing Group, and Thieme’s managing director Dr. Wolfgang Knüppe will appoint four executives to the newly formed extended management board. OCLC and the National Library of the Netherlands sign new long-term agreement for metadata management and discovery services
OCLC and the Koninklijke Bibliotheek (KB), the National Library of the Netherlands, have signed a new long-term partnership agreement for metadata management and discovery services that will increase the visibility of Dutch public libraries’ collections. Under the new agreement, library metadata workflows will be moved to WorldCat, the world’s most comprehensive network of data about library collections, and the WorldShare technology platform.
