Elsevier announces six new neurological diseases titles in recognition of Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness and Caregivers Month
STM publisher Elsevier has announced the publication of Drug Discovery Approaches for the Treatment of Neurodegenerative Disorders: Alzheimer’s Disease, edited by Adeboye Adejare. Also in recognition of Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness and Caregivers Month, Elsevier has published five additional titles on Alzheimer’s and other neurological diseases, with a sixth slated for publication in March 2017.

AAUP Digital Monograph Costing Tool released
The Association of American University Presses has announced the publication of the AAUP Digital Monograph Costing Tool, created with the help of a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, which supported the creation of the tool and accompanying documentation. The AAUP Digital Monograph Costing Tool was created by Nancy Maron and Kim Schmelzinger, co-authors of the February 2016 Ithaka S+R study, “The Costs of Publishing Scholarly Monographs,” on which the tool is based.
