Academic publisher SAGE Publishing has released the second edition of The SAGE Encyclopedia of Industrial and Organizational Psychology with approximately 200 new entries on the psychological principles behind the ways people do tasks, behave, and interact with others at work. Released nearly 10 years after the well-received first edition, the new four-volume set provides an introduction to industrial and organizational (I/O) psychology for students, an overview into the specialized area for researchers, and updated information on the field for professionals.

The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) named 11 experts and leaders in clinical research, data analysis, statistics, and patient advocacy as judges for the SPRINT Data Analysis Challenge, a competition that aims to demonstrate the potential of sharing clinical trial data. The Challenge Round is open from December 1 – February 14. Challenge Round submissions will be evaluated by the judges’ panel and will also be open to evaluation by the public for crowd voting.
