The American Society for Parenteral and Enteral and Wiley announce publishing partnership
Publisher John Wiley and Sons Inc. has been selected by the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN) as its publishing partner for its distinguished publications, The Journal of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition and Nutrition in Clinical Practice. This agreement, commencing in January 2018, will see both journals move to the Wiley Online Library platform.

IOP Publishing launches Remarq pilot on several of its journals
RedLink has announced a pilot of RemarqTM on several IOP Publishing journals, including the Journal of Optics, the New Journal of Physics, Nanotechnology, and Biofabrication. Remarq is a new tool for the publishing community offering annotation, commenting, article sharing, and collaboration, all on the publisher’s site and utilising the version of record.

Leading Italian universities now gain access to De Gruyter content
Academic publisher De Gruyter has signed a 3-year agreement with the CRUI/CARE consortium of Italian academic libraries that includes eJournal and eBook packages as well as Databases. Currently, some of the most prestigious Italian universities have joined the consortium for De Gruyter collections. Students, lecturers, researchers and staff at these institutions will have access to De Gruyter content in various formats.

Emerald titles increase strong CiteScore position
The first full release of the CiteScore metric for 2016 from Scopus has seen Emerald increase the quality measures for over 57% of its journals, on a like-for-like basis compared to 2015’s figures. Following on from CiteScore’s launch in December 2016, Emerald remains the publisher with the most journals in the Business, Management & Accounting field, with over 16% of the whole sector.

OCLC in deal with leading publishers worldwide
Global library cooperative OCLC has signed agreements with distinguished publishers from around the world to add metadata for high quality books, e-books, journals, databases and other materials that will make their content discoverable through WorldCat Discovery. OCLC has agreements in place with 315 publishers and information providers to supply metadata to facilitate discovery and access to key resources relevant to researchers, faculty and students.
