 Publons and Taylor & Francis extend partnership
Peer review platform Publons has announced an extended partnership with Taylor & Francis following a successful pilot. Through Publons Reviewer Recognition Service, they will provide automated recognition to peer reviewers for up to 250 academic journals. To-date, more than 18,500 peer reviewers have used the Publons platform to track over 58,000 peer reviews for Taylor & Francis journals.

 Arindam Banerjee joins editorial boards of ASME and Elsevier journals
Arindam Banerjee, associate professor of mechanical engineering and mechanics at Lehigh University, has been appointed to two editorial boards. Banerjee joined the Journal of Fluids Engineering as an associate editor. He has also joined the editorial board of Renewable Energy, an international journal about research and engineering in all types of renewable energy.

The team of Knowledge Unlatched (KU), the central platform for the sustainable funding of Open Access (OA) models, has announced a further increase in support from publishers for its activities. In preparation of its fifth funding round, which for the first time contains content from all research disciplines covering the Humanities, the Social Sciences and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Medicine) subjects, the team has just announced the current number of submissions and publisher partners.

Dr. George Asimellis, associate professor at the University of Pikeville-Kentucky College of Optometry, has been appointed Associate Editor for the Journal of Refractive Surgery (JRS), the official publication of theInternational Society of Refractive Surgery (ISRS).
