 Publons and SAGE Publishing partner to accelerate reviewer recognition across 1,000 Journals
Publons, a Clarivate Analytics company and the peer review platform for researchers, has announced an extended partnership with the academic publisher SAGE Publishing. Through Publons’ Reviewer Recognition Service, SAGE will provide automated recognition to peer reviewers for up to 1,000 of their academic journals.

 BMJ provides Ebola resources to support healthcare workers in Democratic Republic of the Congo
Following the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, BMJ is providing free access to a range of evidence-based online resources to support healthcare workers with the early detection, diagnosis and management of Ebola. Free information about the Ebola virus and how best to treat it, is available from BMJ Best Practice, the clinical support tool from BMJ, for health professionals working on the frontline in affected rural and urban regions of DR Congo.

 The Optical Society to launch new gold OA journal, OSA Continuum
The Optical Society (OSA) has announced that it will begin publishing a new open access journal, OSA Continuum, in September 2018. The new Journal will accept contributions from the broad optics and photonics community and will provide rapid dissemination of research articles meeting OSA’s high standards of accuracy, scientific rigour, and presentation standards without judgment of impact or significance.
