2019 will mark the 150th anniversary of the international science journal Nature. Founded in 1869, Nature was launched with a mission to ‘place before the general public the grand results of Scientific Work and Scientific Discovery’ and to aid scientists by ‘giving early information of all advances made in any branch of Natural knowledge throughout the world’. Activities are planned throughout 2019 to celebrate the history and legacy of research published in the journal, as well as looking ahead to the future of research.
