 The Wiley Foundation announces winners of 18th annual Wiley Prize in Biomedical Sciences
The Wiley Foundation has announced that the 18th annual Wiley Prize in Biomedical Sciences will be awarded to Svante Pääbo and David Reich for sequencing the genomes of ancient humans and extinct relatives, revealing the origin and ancestry of contemporary humans and the diverse populations. First awarded in 2002, the Wiley Prize in Biomedical Sciences is presented annually to recognise contributions that have opened new fields of research or have advanced concepts in a particular biomedical discipline.

Publishers’ Licensing Services has appointed Rosie Glazebrook as its new Chair, effective April 1, 2019. She takes over from Mark Bide who retires at the end of May having completed six years in office. Like Mark, she will also become the co-Chair of the Copyright Licensing Agency (CLA).
