The Association of Arab Universities and Elsevier, the information analytics business specialising in science and health, have reached an agreement to co-create the Arab Journals Platform, an open electronic network of scholarly journals that will help raise awareness of leading research carried out in the Arab world. eLife, in collaboration with the Collaborative Knowledge Foundation (Coko), has launched the first release of Libero Reviewer, an open-source application that will support the organisation’s unique editorial process from submission to acceptance.
