 Library consortium and Thieme sign transformation agreement
The Thieme Group has signed a transformation agreement with ZB MED – Information Centre for Life Sciences, the Forschungszentrum Jülich, and thirteen additional specialist libraries. As part of an initial pilot project, authors at participating institutions will first be given the opportunity to publish original papers inHormone and Metabolic Research, an international journal published by Thieme, on an open access basis at no extra cost.

The MIT Press and The Society for the Neurobiology of Language have launched a new open access journal,Neurobiology of Language. The journal will publish interdisciplinary articles addressing the neurobiological basis of human speech and language. Steven L. Small, Dean of the School of Behavioral and Brain Sciences, University of Texas at Dallas (Professor Emeritus at the University of Chicago and the University of California) and Kate E. Watkins, Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Oxford, will serve as Editors-in-Chief.
