STM publisher Elsevier has published the ARM edition of its bestseller Computer Organization and Design: The Hardware/Software Interface. Written by educators David Patterson and John Hennessy, the new edition features a subset of the ARMv8-A architecture presenting the fundamentals of hardware technologies, assembly language, computer arithmetic, pipelining, memory hierarchies and I/O.

EBSCO Health enhances DynaMed team to build innovation and product depth
Clinical decision support solutions provider EBSCO Health has announced two additions to its DynaMed senior leadership team. Dr. Peter Oettgen has assumed the role of DynaMed Editor in Chief and Dr. Kevin Loughlin was appointed Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Brian Alper, the founder of DynaMed, previously held those positions and will continue to serve as VP of Innovations and EBM Development for EBSCO Health.

Oxford University Press now publishing Current Zoology
Academic publisher Oxford University Press (OUP) is now publishing the fully Open Access journal, Current Zoology. OUP officially took over publication of the journal in January 2016. Dr. Debra A. Patt named Editor-in-Chief of ASCO’s new journal, JCO Clinical Cancer Informatics
American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) has announced the appointment of Dr. Debra A. Patt as editor-in-chief of the Society’s new publication – JCO Clinical Cancer Informatics (JCO CCI). Dr. Patt will oversee the development and production of each issue of JCO CCI, the most recent addition to the family of journals published by ASCO, including the Journal of Clinical Oncology, Journal of Oncology Practice, and Journal of Global Oncology.

Australia’s University of New England goes live with Ex Libris Alma and Primo
Ex Libris, a ProQuest company, has announced that the University of New England (UNE), in New South Wales, Australia, has gone live with the Ex Libris Alma library management service and the Primo discovery and delivery solution.
