Academic publisher Emerald Group Publishing has announced changes to some of its key Library & Information Science journals. According to Eileen Breen, Publisher at Emerald, Library Science is becoming more interdisciplinary and outward-looking. Working at the interface with Information Systems research – as well as Information Science and Educational research – is broadening the impact of the field. Emerald is therefore adapting to these trends by broadening the scope of several of its titles, making name changes and appointing new editors.
