Clarivate Analytics and REDIB collaborate to strengthen support for Ibero-American research
Clarivate Analytics, the global provider of trusted insights and analytics to enable the research ecosystem to accelerate discovery, has announced a collaboration with the Red Iberoamericana de Innovación y Conocimiento Científico (REDIB), to deepen the REDIB platform. The collaboration specifically includes enriching the REDIB journal records indexed within Web of Science Core Collection and providing a journal ranking based on this data enhancement.

Nature Research is expanding its portfolio of open access titles to include a family of three new, high quality, selective, open access multidisciplinary journals – Communications Biology, Communications Chemistry and Communications Physics. The launch is part of Nature Research’s ongoing commitment to providing increasing options for authors to choose open access publishing and builds on the stable of open access titles published by Springer Nature, already the biggest open access publisher globally.

Emerald acquires three new journals
Academic publisher Emerald Publishing has acquired the list of three journals from US-based publisher PrAcademics Press for 2018 publication. These journals – Journal of Public Budgeting, Accounting & Financial Management (JPBAFM); Journal of Public Procurement (JOPP); and International Journal of Organization Theory & Behavior (IJOTB) – add significant value to Emerald’s existing journal collections, particularly to Emerald’s offering in the North American market.

KUAS to use Ex Libris’ Alma library services and Primo discovery to support collaboration and strengthen integration of university libraries
Ex Libris®, a ProQuest company, has announced that the National Kaohsiung University of Applied Sciences (KUAS) has become the first university in Taiwan to choose the Ex Libris Alma® library services platform. Alma and the Ex Libris Primo® discovery and delivery solution will be replacing a number of the library’s current systems, including an integrated library system, electronic resource management system, and discovery system.
