IEEE, the world’s largest technical professional organisation dedicated to advancing technology for humanity, and SAE International, a global association of engineers, as well as related technical experts in the aerospace, automotive, and commercial-vehicle industries, have announced a new collaboration to make SAE International eBooks available via the IEEE Xplore® digital library. IEEE Xplore provides access to more than 4.5 million full-text documents from some of the world’s most highly cited publications in electrical engineering, computer science, and electronics.

 ProQuest customers gain access to 630 Melbourne University Publishing titles
ProQuest and Melbourne University Publishing (MUP) recently announced an agreement providing academic libraries access to 630 titles via the Ebook Central platform, where they can acquire them by demand-driven acquisition or single-title purchase. For the first time ever, nearly the entire catalogue of titles from MUP is now available to academic libraries.

 The Critical Ultrasound Journal changes name to The Ultrasound Journal
The Critical Ultrasound Journal, the official journal of the WINFOCUS (World Interactive Network Focused on Critical UltraSound), will change its name to The Ultrasound Journal to reflect the expanding scope of ultrasound in medicine and the inclusive nature of WINFOCUS and the journal. While ultrasound is a ‘critical’ component of health care decisions and practice, having ‘critical’ in the name of the journal has led to some confusion as to the content of the journal, especially for those interested in non-critical care use of ultrasound and potential authors.
