 Spanish National Research Council Library Network and the Royal Society of Chemistry sign Read & Publish licensing agreement
The Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) Library Network has signed an innovative Read & Publish licensing agreement with the Royal Society of Chemistry. Under the deal, CSIC authors will now be able to publish in Royal Society of Chemistry Open Access journals, as well as have access to read the full range of scientific content from these titles.

 Leading open-access advocate Michael Eisen named Editor-in-Chief of eLife
eLife has announced Michael (Mike) Eisen as its new Editor-in-Chief. Eisen takes over from Randy Schekman, eLife’s founding Editor-in-Chief, who stepped down in January to dedicate more time to his role as Chair of the Advisory Council for the Aligning Science Across Parkinson’s initiative.

 New way to share sources on JSTOR
JSTOR, a digital library of academic journals, books, and primary sources, has introduced a feature that supports collaboration in research and teaching by allowing users to easily share a list of sources they save in My Workspace. My Workspace is JSTOR’s citation-management tool. It allows users to save and organise their journal articles and book chapters from JSTOR along with other references found on the web.

Open access publisher Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute (MDPI) has announced its participation inJisc’s Publication Router project, as of March 2019. Publications Router is a Jisc service that automatically sends notifications about research articles to institutions’ systems such as their repositories or CRISs, since May 2015.
